Annual Club Dinner
- Club Dinner, April 2009. Every year
we have a club awards and recognition dinner, with spouses
and significant others. It gives us a chance to show appreciation for those who let us enjoy
our sport, and to have a little social time with each other. This year's dinner was a smashing
success as always.
Community Activities
- The Vets took a trip with us on the Eagle in July. We are proud and honored
to be able to share our passion for fishing with these deserving guys, who have given us all so much.

- Keansburg Father Time, January 2009. This is an annual event
that we just love being a part of. Kids, dads, outdoors, what more could you ask for?

- Scout trip on the Eagle, August 30th 2007On August 30th we once again took
scouts from several troops on a fishing trip aboard the Eagle. For the first time we had some girl scouts with us, who more than
held their own with the boys and the club members. Everyone caught bluefish and had a lot of fun!

- Kids' Day and Annual Club Picnic, 2005. On August 20th 2005, we ran our annual Kids' Day
and club picnic at Sandy Hook. Everyone had a great time, this kids did some fishing (and caught a fish), and a
successful casting competition was run. (As we suspected, most of us don't cast too well...)
- Boy Scout fishing trip. In June, 2005, the club took Boy Scouts from several
area troops for a fishing trip aboard the charter boat "Eagle", out of Atlantic Highlands. Club members came along to
show the scouts about our sport and help everyone to have a good time. Cool, sunny weather, cooperative fish and enthusiastic
boysguaranteed a fun time for everyone.
- Kids Kamp '04- Each year the BSF club members provide a fly fishing outing for
youngsters. The Kids Kamp is an opportunity for boy scouts and other kids to learn fly tying, fly casting and marine ecology.

- World Trade Center Teens Trip - The 2nd annual WTC Teens trip was a great success. Each of these
kids lost a family member during the attack on the world trade center. Annually, BSF club members take the group out to sea
to catch some bass and create some smiles.
- Special Olympians' fishing trip - Hook a fish and you are sure to see a smile.

Summer BBQ
- Club Member Picnic - Every summer the club members get together after the Kids Camp for a Bar-B-Que.
This activity provides the members an opportunity to enjoy a little off the water social time.
